Don’t perform on this site!
I have made thousands of dollars and generated thousands of followers for myself and for Cam4 as a performer. My account was deleted by the operator and my earnings were withheld.
Legally it is difficult to proceed because I am in a different country than the company headquarters. I find this scam to be extremely fraudulent.
What users are less aware of, but should generally know:
Many of the actors work directly for Cam4. I have many colleagues in Colombia, for example, who have to work for this company every day for starvation wages and under poor conditions. Many of them claim that it is one of the worst jobs they have ever had to do, which is why very few people actually last long.
Otherwise, as an actor, you are completely on your own.
Cam4 doesn't care if you broadcast non-stop for 8, 10 or 12 hours. It doesn't matter to them whether you go without food and drink, exhaust yourself completely or, for example, let unpleasant users publicly insult you.
Summarized:
Cam4 will not do anything for you as an actor. If you want to be successful, you will have to have a lot of personal commitment. But even then, you may end up empty-handed if Cam4 simply deletes you, as has happened to many of us.
As a viewer you should know that very few performers broadcast their show because they want to, but rather because they have to.
The actors who have to broadcast themselves under the direction of Cam4 have a particularly difficult time.
My recommendation: As a performer, look for another platform that is more promising and reputable. And as a viewer, it's better to invest your money elsewhere so that you don't feel completely ripped off.

The website cam4.com is nothing but a joke.It used to be a fun place but about 2 years ago they started something called buying tokens.Each token is equal to 1 cent.For example if you bought 20 dollars worth of tokens in cash value it will cost you around 40 dollars.The people who get on their webcams can ask for "tokens" which means money.For example a person can say they will do something for a certain amount of money in "tokens".Many people on there will do things off cam for cash money which makes cam4 mad because they do not make money that way.There are many other people on the site who work for cam4.One of these profiles is called NIKE216.He will come into rooms who are scammers and try and lure others to tip these rooms knowing full well they are scammers.When I say scammers I mean the person on webcam will say they will do something for a certain amount of tokens and then they will logoff and claim their computer crashed.Some rooms make as much as 300 dollars in only one or 2 hours this way.When people complain to cam4 your account will be erased.If you warn others about the rooms that scam your account will be erased.This is a website that needs to have some serious eyes on it for the fraud it allows its users to commit.My advise would be to not buy tokens.I certainly never have.

Cam4 is corrupt and unprofessional
I tried to make cam4 work, but the site is corrupt from the inside. Nothing is confidential when you use the live chat bubble.
Kim the manager is abusive. I used the live chat bubble to try and get help with DMCA and had to go back and forth on some other issues, and KIM took it upon herself to disable the chat bubble so I could not longer get assistance if I needed it. She told me I was abusive and spamming the chat just because I asked for help and clarification.
I was finally banned from the site, and they didnt even bother to send me an email, just logged in and said suspended. The site plays favorites like they all do, but Cam4 is a team that takes it to a new level.
The people are the cheapest of any cam site on the planet. The site could have been tolerable short term, if it was not run by u professionals, who disable the live chat bubble just for asking for help, and calling models abusive for asking for help.
